Winter Activities:

Snow BoarderChamonix offers not just a single ski resort but a chain of ski areas along both sides of the valley dominated by Mont Blanc. The Chamonix valley caters for all levels of skier and snow boarder. Le Brevent and La Flegere provide the bulk of the intermediate skiing but such is the diversity of pistes that skiers and snow boarders of intermediate level can spend a week in the valley without going to the same place twice.

Beginners are similarly well served by the runs on offer- the best is Le Tour where there is plenty of opportunity to practise on green runs. For advanced skiers the possibilities are endless but must include the Grands Montets at Argentiere, a truly magnificent and dramatic mountain.

For the more adventurous we can arrange ski touring trips and guides to enable you to do some high mountain trips and experience the world famous Valley Blanche which, at 17km, is the world's longest ski run. Depending on the time of your visit, we can arrange a moonlit descent of the Valley Blanche which, from the owners' personal experience, is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

We offer free resort orientation trips to help you make the most of your time here. We can also arrange lessons and ski hire on request. With 90% of the skiing over 2000m the Chamonix Valley is one of the key snow sure resorts of France.
